Tunisia: 'MedDiet': Mediterranean Diet Cultural Heritage of Humanity

TUNIS, 29 OTT - The value of the Mediterranean diet, especially in these days, is highlighted by nutrition experts all over the world. The international capitalization event opens today in Tunis in the Maghreb area of ​​the MedDiet project, Mediterranean Diet and Enhancement of Traditional Products, which lasted three years, as part of the ENPI CBC MED funded program, for an amount of 4,49 million, by the European Union through the European Neighborhood and Partnership Instrument. MedDiet is placed under the management authority of the Autonomous Region of Sardinia and is coordinated by Unioncamere, with the involvement of twelve partners from the six countries involved in the project, in particular the Business Services Center of the Cagliari Chamber of Commerce, the National Association of Cities of the Oil, Forum of the Adriatic and Ionian Chambers of Commerce, Foundacion Mediterranean Diet (Spain), Tunis Chamber of Commerce, Rotes de l'Olivier (Greece), Messinia Chamber of Commerce (Greece), Asociation Espanola de Municipios del Olivo (Spain), Association of Mediterranean Chambers of Commerce (Spain), Confederation of Egyptian European Business Associations (Egypt), Institut National de la Recherche Agronomique de Tunisie (Tunisia) and Chamber of Commerce of Beirut (Lebanon).
