Event in Brussels to underline the importance of the Mediterranean diet. Patriciello: "But we must also pay attention to the origin of the products".

UNESCO has crowned it the Intangible Heritage of Humanity. Researchers around the world have defined it as a panacea for health. And chefs all over the world appreciate it for its goodness and genuineness. Let's talk about the Mediterranean diet, to which an event was dedicated in Brussels to raise awareness among the European institutions on its importance.

"This is why we asked for the European Day of the Mediterranean Diet to be established", explains Aldo Patriciello, MEP of Forza Italia, who is involved in the defense of the health of Europeans, at Affaritaliani.it. "We wanted to organize this event in Brussels to bring together scientists, politicians and entrepreneurs and discuss the Mediterranean Diet, the secret of longevity in the age of globalization".
