There are two fundamental projects that the Park Authority has planned: the "New Energy Park -Angelo Vassallo" and the creation of a HUB for StartUp which will also be a candidate for a research center on the Mediterranean Diet.

The president, Tommaso Pellegrino, the Board of Directors, the Executive Committee in a climate of mutual trust, daily put the achievement of the common good for the entire territorial system managed by the National Park Authority of Cilento, Vallo di Diano and Alburni.

There are two fundamental projects that the Park Authority has planned: the "New Energy Park -Angelo Vassallo" and the creation of a HUB for StartUp which will also be a candidate for a research center on the Mediterranean Diet (CNRMEDITERRANEA).

The goal is to go "Towards the energy autonomy of the National Park from renewable sources". It will be about producing as much green, clean and renewable energy in an area protected by nature and vocation. This is the priority and strategic commitment for the park area that aims to have a bio-sustainable economy. The project partner will be the UUSSSA CUSSMAC Consortium. A memorandum of understanding has also been signed with ENEA for a partnership in order to create an innovative model through a "Smart grid" system to achieve the following objectives: 1) Increase the production of energy from renewable sources and drastically reduce fossil sources in the Park area. 2) Implement energy savings, rational use of energy and energy efficiency. 3) Spread the culture of saving and energy efficiency. 4) To create an excellent international image of the Park that aims at self-sustainable energy.
