The Mediterranean diet? A fish-only diet while calories are the fat in food. Italians in terms of nutrition are poorly informed: two out of ten Italians (21%) are convinced that carbohydrates are in vegetables, and in the homeland of the Mediterranean diet, proteins and vitamins are confused, we rely on friends' advice and pay attention to to the sirens of the "hearsay".
