(NewTuscia) - Since the last FAO report it has emerged that the Italian population is making less use of fruit and vegetables and an abuse of meat and dairy products, due to Globalization and incorrect lifestyles. In the last ten years this has led to a significant increase in the percentage of people who are overweight and obese, and a higher incidence of cardiovascular diseases (hypertension, dyslipidemia, etc.) and chronic degenerative diseases (cancer, etc. ..).
